Information literacy has been frequently confused with other terms such as library skills, computer
literacy, IT literacy, information skills and learning to learn with authors having sought to emphasizethe differences between these terms (Snavely and Cooper, 1997; etc.). Today, information literacy is
best envisioned as a broader concept that encompasses all of the other forms of literacy.
