Dear Dr. Pee,
I am still trying to find you just the right young female that has already had a calf, but is the type that you are looking for to flush. When I find the right ones for you to consider, I will send photos.
In the meantime, I am going to send you a couple of outstanding young heifers for your consideration. The first heifer “287” will be a year old Sept. 26, 2013. This heifer is out of a young cow that is proving to be one of our best cows. This heifer’s maternal grandmother is still in our herd at 11 years old and just had another calf. In other words, this is one of our very strong cow lines. We would normally keep this 287 heifer in the herd, but since you are trying to build a quality herd, I think that this heifer will be a strong cow in your Red Brahman herd. Remember, she is not a year old until Sept. 26. She has a lot of growing to do.
I am going to visit my Mother in Louisiana (the next state from Texas) who will be 91 years old tomorrow. I will return to the ranch on Sunday and early next week, I will try to find you an older female for you to flush.
I hope that you and your family enjoy a good weekend.
Thank you for your consideration and your friendship.
