• Direct/manage the operational and fiscal activities of department to include: staffing levels, budgets
• Direct and supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Conduct interviews, hire new staff and support employee Induction
• Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action
• Coach/feedback and provide career development advice to staff
• Responsible for staff scheduling, meeting and duty assignments according to budget allotment, customer needs, problems, workloads and statistical forecasts
• Perform other functions as necessary or as assigned
• Management by the smooth running of all daily operations within the warehouse/transport, and to aid in all planning for expected customer.
• Organize and maintain vehicles or subcontractors and all operational equipment to cover all requests.
