Comparing Thailand’s strengths to those of other AEC members, I see our advantages from many angles giving Thailand opportunity to become a regional economic, trade, and investment hub. Thailand may encounter both crises and opportunities when the ASEAN Economic Community is implemented in a few months. But if Thais prepare thoroughly, the AEC would not affect us that badly and we may even find opportunities.
