In this view, we investigated the relationship between
university libraries’ collections and their consequent competitive sports performances. The reason we focused
on a university is that it is relatively easy to define the users affected by the library collection and their sports
performances, as we will mention later. On the other hand, it is difficult to obtain the data of users’ sports
performance affected by the public libraries’ collections. In addition, the collections often aim at improving
