During the last half-century, Denmark has made impressive advances in several key industrial sectors; biotech, healthcare, telecommunications and IT, transportation and services. As a member of the European Union, Denmark plays a leadership role within the EU and on the world's political and economic stage.
The country is an excellent distribution platform for the Scandinavian and Baltic regions because of its location and sophisticated infrastructure. Trade between Denmark and Europe continues to expand. Denmark's central location in Europe is also an obvious starting point for regional marketing and distribution.
