Peter is Director of Government Affairs for the firm of Davidoff, Malito and Hutcher and leads the firm's government advocacy efforts based in the state capital city of Albany. He is also President of Green Thumb Environmental Beautification Inc., a senior citizen employment program. He also serves as a board member of the Northeast Kidney Foundation headquartered here in the capital district.
Peter has served as a member of the Town of Colonie Zoning Board of Appeals, the town's Sign Review Board, and as a Deputy Board Member of the New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority which was charged with managing the winter sports facilities at Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain and Gore Mountain.
His professional experience also includes his service as Executive Director of the New York State Senate Environmental Conservation Committee and as a Senior Budget Analyst of the Senate Finance Committee
Peter earned his Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Public Affairs and Citizenship at Syracuse University where he also earned his Bachelors Degree in Political Science.
He and his wife Kathleen are 33 year residents of the Town of Colonie where they have raised their three grown children.
