MCU’s mission is to conduct R&D on analytical testing of materials characterization, including knowledge dissemination and technology transfer to public and private sectors in order to increase capabilities of the country. The analytical techniques provided are:

1. Physical properties such as thermal properties, mechanical properties, electrical properties.

2. Analytical chemistry such as analysis of chemical composition, molecular structure and molecular weight.

3. Microanalysis such as micro-structure analysis, crystal conformation, surface structure and characterization of powdered materials.
