Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace cannot be shown to enhance a company’s global competitiveness. Right? Not necessarily. Productivity is a measurement of how well various factor, when taken together, perform. These factor include employees, material, money, and motivation. All four of these factors and affected by the work environment. In fact, more than 90 percent of employees identify quality of the work environment as critical in terms of their motivation and performance.
