The simulation study was performed in two paths: the right-angle path and a curved path. The actual experiment was performed only in the right-angle path. As shown in Fig 10 and Fig 11, both simulations revealed that the intelligent guide stick successfully navigated the blind, avoiding the obstacles. Fig 10 shows the simulation result in the right-angle path, and revealed that the guide stick moved safely. From the simulation result in a curved path, as shown in Fig 11, the guide stick also followed the curved path safely. However, an actual experiment was not performed for this case.
