Request Center
Request Center is your main portal for requesting IT services and for reporting IT incidents and issues. It provides the following benefits:
o Simple, more intuitive interface
o Single site for the submission of general support and advanced IT requests
o Consolidated view of the status of your open requests
o Links to global outages, Request Center Website training and site updates
Request Center has an Order Guide Me Wizard that will guide you to the appropriate request form by asking a series of questions. You can also refer to the Request Center A-Z page to view approximately 175 commonly requested items, and create your and request order from that list
Note: If your need is critical, please call in to the support center rather than putting in an electronic ticket. A support representative can then escalate your ticket immediately. Click here to view a list of the Support Center Phone numbers for the various regions.
IT Help (Desktop Tool)
New! (as of August, 2013). A tool called “IT HELP” is now located on your desktop. This is a direct and instant gateway to IT services, including: assisted-help, self-help, and community-help, as well as how to find assistance when you have issues logging on to the Ford network.
You’ll also find many other links to learning resources (such as Ford Learning & Development; Microsoft Office Training; DW Live Learning Events; and a Guide for Getting Started with Your New PC) as well as feedback channels.
Click here for a guide on what you can find in the IT Help tool. Even better, visit the IT Help tool on your desktop today! Note: The “Help Info” icon and “Desktop Training” icon will be removed from your desktop when the new IT HELP icon completes its launch (Fall, 2013). The features of both have been incorporated into the IT Help tool.
